A walking or mountain bike track for the moderately fit, this paved mountain trail is undulating and steep in parts. You will pass through a varied plant ecosystem, including a Eucalyptus Forest. This is a great walk to spot goannas and birdlife along. There are many small creeks and waterholes to explore before arriving at Clamshell Falls. For the more adventurous, take a swim in the mountain fresh water (this means refreshing aka cold!) or safely climb the granite boulders. Take a picnic along, it is an easy and enjoyable way to spend a half or a whole day exploring and swimming. An extra bonus is a hike back is 95% downhill.

6 km return (2 hrs)
