Russell River National Park is host to some of the tropics most spectacular coastal scenery.  Graham Range Camping Area is a small coastal park in the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area protecting lowland rainforest, paperbark swamps and mangroves, near the estuary of the Russell and Mulgrave rivers.  The camping ground can be accessed from the town of Bramston Beach, 83 knms south of Cairns and campers must obtain an e-camping permit and pay their camping fees online before arriving at the camping area.

There are 5 secluded campsites available adjacent to long stretches of beach, perfect for fishing or relaxing in the quiet natural surroundings. There are no visitor facilities in the park, campers must be self sufficient and take all rubbish with them.  The 10 km stretch of gravel road to the camping ground  from the township of Branmston Beach is not suitable for large caravans.  Stay the day or week but remember to leave only footprints.
